Federated Co-ops CFO Raquel Paulson on left, recently presented a check to Stephanie Hillesheim of the City of Princeton. The $5,000 donated by Federated was matched by CoBank's Sharing Success Program. The City of Princeton will use the money for a park improvement project in the heart of downtown Princeton. The City has received a matching grant from Minnesota DNR for this project.
The Braham Event Center which is operated by Tusen Tack, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Recently, Federated Co-ops donated $17,500 with Co-Bank matching $7,500. These donations will be used to expand the parking surface to support the event center.
Raquel Paulson (CFO) and Mike McMahon(CEO) were proud to present a donation to Barry Schreiber of the Mille Lacs County Historical Society on behalf of Federated Co-ops and CHS. Barry and the team of volunteers is doing a great job preserving the history of Mille Lacs County. There are many projects that this donation will help support. Below is the press release.

On Saturday December 8, the following Fire Departments from these great Minnesota cities; Almelund, Cambridge, Harris, Mora, Pine City and Rush City with instructions from Central Lakes Community College had a structural training burn and pumping training at an old home we had on our property in Rush City.
Federated Co-ops with matching funds from CoBank sharing success program donated $4,000 to the Princeton Police Department to help purchase a new K-9 police dog. Their current dog “Skar” will retire in early 2019 once the new dog will ready to go. The canine unit has been able to help keep schools a safe and drug free learning environment by conducting narcotic sniffs in schools.

Federated Co-ops and the folks from COMFORTS food shelf, Matt & Barb Peterson, have teamed up to help achieve their goal of expanding a school-age Backpack Program and to build a small addition to their building to accommodate more food inventory for their patrons. Federated is proud to help the Minong Wisconsin community in which we are a part of.
On Thursday morning, October 26 between the hours of 4am-6 am a person driving what we believe is a 05-07 Chevy Truck with dual axels broke into our diesel pumps at our Super America store in Scandia Minnesota. This person stole in excess of 115 gallons and caused damage to the pumps. We believe this person has past experience with fuel pumps based on the way he was able to get into.
Federated is extremely pleased to have partnered with Deputy Kyle Burton K-9 Handler & Trainer for the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office for the second time.
Federated is proud to partner with Aitkin County Habitat for Humanity and present this donation to help build a home this spring in the city of Aitkin. Federated’s donation was matched by the Land O’Lakes, Inc. Foundation of which Federated Co-ops is a member of.
